Wikipedia 201[edit]
Wikipedia 201 is an online education set project that is the continuation of the Wikipedia 101 project. Our club make various contributions to the education set, which recorded at Istanbul Bilgi University RGB Studios. The project is completed in February 2024.
Edit-a-thon[edit]
Onsite and online edit-a-thons is planned to be attended by BİLGİ students. Other Wikipedia student clubs in Türkiye may also be included in the competition. The first edit-a-thon held on November 30, 2023 with the theme of Japan.
Photo contest (BİLGİ'li Fotoğraflıyor)[edit]
In the competition, BİLGİ students are planned to take photographs related to the given theme and upload them to Wikimedia Commons with appropriate licenses. It is planned to give some prizes to the winners of the photographs sent to the competition and to exhibit them on the santralistanbul Campus.
National and international collaborations[edit]
At the national level, collaborations with Üsküdar University Wikipedia Student Club are planned. Internationally, it is planned to develop joint projects by signing a friendship and cooperation agreement with the Student Wikipedian Community in Waseda University Tokyo in Japan (part of Wikimedia Japan-Türkiye Friendship Project) Additionally, various collaborations are planned with Wikipedia student clubs in Georgia.
Further developing our cooperation with CEE Hub Youth Group and increasing the number of young participants from Turkey are among our important priorities.
