Deliberations[edit]

  • We had a productive discussion about completing the 2000 articles on Tulu Wikipedia. During the discussion, community members actively participated BENET G AMANNA, Pavanaja, Dr Chandra Shekhara Shetty, Vishwanatha Badikana and provided suggestions for organizing a competition. Distributing book vouchers as prizes will further motivate the community members. Starting from September, editing events will commence in various colleges across Tulunadu.
  • About Pursereg Kattuna Documentary film, Vishwanatha Badikana and Bharathesha provided detailed information about the documentary. They also discussed the screening of the film and finalized the dates. And spent five minutes showcasing a highlight video of the Pursereg Kattuna documentary.
  • Let's initiate the efforts to revitalize the Tulu Wiktionary. The effects of Covid have led to a decrease in edits on the Tulu incubator Wiktionary. We urge all participants to actively contribute by editing the incubator Wiktionary. Moreover, exploring the option of mass uploading via Google Sheets could significantly enhance the vibrancy of the Tulu Wiktionary. Bharathesha shared editing screen and educated the community members.
  • An update was provided regarding MC Phase 2 Discourses and grant status. Everyone was requested to participate actively in the MC Phase discourses.
  • Engaging in the General Grant discussion. Tulunadu boasts a rich culture of living heritage that we need to preserve before it fades into oblivion. It was decided that certain members of the community should apply for General and Rapid grants.
  • Update on the Edit-a-thons held at Aloysius College and Canara College.
