This is the language committee report for September and October 2012.
Committee[edit]
- Wikimedia is initially creating 7 Wikivoyage subdomains whose databases are imported from the wikis formerly hosted by Wikivoyage e.V. (list). New language versions will have to take the usual process of the Language proposal policy, with test wikis in Incubator, except 8 other languages, for which probably content can be imported as well (see [1]).
Requests and approvals[edit]
- Wiktionary Moksha was verified as eligible.
- Still awaiting verification of the content for Wikipedia in Livonian.
- A proposal to close Simple English Wiktionary was rejected.
- Proposals to close Zhuang Wiktionary, Proposals for closing projects/Closure of Min Nan Wikibooks and Strategy Wiki were accepted.

- Recently, some activity at the Bugzilla entry concerning wiki renames.
