Luganda is the most widely used native language in Uganda. There is still a hunger for written content in Luganda on various themes for purposes of education, leisure reading, fact checks, to mention but a few. The major goal of this project is to provide content in Luganda on various themes to build a database that can be referred to by researchers, students and lovers of Luganda. In such a period of ;limited physical gatherings and more online education, Wiki4Education aims to encourage students to in secondary schools and beyond, to utilise open education resources like Wikipedia and Wikisource in their learning. In turn we will collaborate with the department of languages at Makerere University and different partners to avail content relevant to the students' learning and to encourage preservation of the Luganda Language This will be a four months initiative.
