WHEREAS, the program committee chairpersons are appointed by the Board, upon consultation with the general membership, to serve for a one-year term with reappointment;

WHEREAS, the main programs are Advocacy, Capacity Building, Diversity, Education, GLAM, and Outreach programs, and are headed by a committee chairperson appointed by the Board;

WHEREAS, the Board may assign up to two committees to be chaired by one person, or it may appoint a vice-chairperson to a committee program as necessary;

WHEREAS, the committee chairperson may appoint up to five committee members, upon consultation and approval of the Board;

RESOLVED, that the following are appointed as program committee chairpersons to serve from May 13, 2022 to May 13, 2023:

  • Advocacy - Zyra Hila, and Cris Fragata-Gomez as the vice-chairperson
  • Capacity Building - Marvin Molin
  • Diversity - Emilyn Mae Cernitchez, and Joseph Ciudadado as the vice-chairperson
  • Education - defer
  • GLAM - Juan Bautista Alegre
  • Outreach - Maffeth Opiana, and Leah Sumalinog as the vice-chairperson

Approved via a unanimous vote on May 13, 2022 during a regular Board meeting held virtually.
