Proposals for closing projects/Closure of Akan Wikibooks

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

The result of the following proposal for closing a WMF project is to CLOSE the project. Please, do not modify this page.

The Akan Wikibooks have no single legitimate content page. I believe they should be closed. --Johannes Rohr 13:05, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I propose to close this discussion within 4 days from now, if there are no other opinions. MF-Warburg(de) 13:50, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion finished. Result: Close --Johannes Rohr 12:06, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Moving to Incubator: Content is in English, not in Akan = Useless content. SPQRobin 12:28, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Support (2)[edit]

  1. No content + no activity = no wikibook. Is there also spam? I wouldn't be surprised if there was any. --Ooswesthoesbes 11:56, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. spam, spam spam. MF-Warburg(de) 13:50, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose (0)[edit]

  1. There is some content, only 2 active users at the moment. The spam has been deleted and cleaned up, as I'm the only sysop there - as ak:b:User:SunStar Net. --WiganRunnerEu 19:47, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    1. There is absolutely no legitimate content, as far as I can see. All pages are in English. If you are the local sysop you should delete them. When you say there are active users, can you identify them? --Johannes Rohr 10:14, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    2. P.S.: Most of the existing pages are copyvios. This Wiki is indeed a clear case for speedy deletion. --Johannes Rohr 12:04, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
