Learning[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

The project worked well as our target was met and we had new editors actively implement all that was taught for contibuting to the project and even had winners amongst new editors.

Another aspect the project worked well was engaging the participants in gaining more knowledge about the sister project, Wiki Commons, even beyond the event day by having training sessions and feedback session.

  • What did not work so well?

We had the project under control by implementing duties to the executives to help curb mistakes, errors.

  • What would you do differently next time?

Create awareness early on to attract new editors interested in the Wikimedia movement.
