Arguments in favour

[edit]
  • Although it is said that Muisca (also known as Chibcha language) is extincted since 1770 with the "Royal Prohibition" of Carlos III of Spain, it remains in some rural areas of Colombia and it is alive in many expressions.
  • There is a current interest in Colombia to rescue the ancient languages and a wikipedia in Muisca or Chibcha could be of great interest and open the expression to communities that have been marginalized as minorities.

Arguments against

[edit]
  • It is officially considered an extinct language.
