We look forward to learning more about our users’ experiences of harassment that are related to their activity on the Wikimedia projects. Your feedback will help us to understand the specific needs of local user communities, provide data that supports product development, and assist in developing any potential policies around the issue.

We are planning to run this survey again in the future and it is important for us to keep the responses for comparison. By participating in this survey, you permit us to record and indefinitely retain your responses. We will only share your responses with Wikimedia staff and contractors and in accordance with our privacy policy, for the purpose of analysis. We will only publicly share your responses or survey results in aggregate or anonymized form.

Our commitment assumes that you incorporate your personal information only in response to questions that explicitly ask for it. Please don’t put personal information in free form comments unless you are comfortable with that information being made public. Wikimedia is a worldwide organization. By answering our questions, you consent to the transfer of your responses to the United States and other places as may be necessary to carry out the objectives of this project.
