I've recently been looking into what old records we have, and archive.org has some information preserved from wikipedia.org/stats (and later wikimedia.org/stats/en.wikipedia.org) from 2002-2004. We're trying to compile what we have at the WP:TOP25 into archvial monthly reports regarding most viewed pages, see, e.g., en:Wikipedia:Top 25 Report/December 2002, en:Wikipedia:Top 25 Report/October 2001. The webalizer tool used to generate these stats was disabled around 19-Oct-2004 because it was overloading the servers.--Milowent (talk) 21:23, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
