Special projects committee/Meetings

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

The SPC meets roughly twice a month. Potential agenda items for upcoming committee meetings can be found at the bottom of the main committee page. Recently, the SPC has scheduled two public meetings, with agendas and notes below:

Upcoming meetings[edit]

If possible could we have an email announcement say two days before a public meeting? I missed the 18 Oct meeting because the reminder came on that very day and only read it after the meeting. Thanks :) Erik Zachte 00:01, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agenda[edit]

  1. I think we should talk about "ownership" of projects (note to non-SPC memers: this is what we try to do within the SPC in order to assign a specific item or topic to a member, who will then work on this to resolution/completion/collapse..). Specifically, we could try to widen our expertise base so that we could quickly pass on information to extra-SPC community members who have expertise/experience in that area. 2. add agenda items here

Comments[edit]

May I suggest a public logging of this meeting? (just like the previous) It could be useful for people who cannot attend it (me, for example :) Or a short summary would be even better, but it would require more work :) guillom 10:36, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
