Hi, I'm Schniggendiller, an active wikimedian since 2008. In the German Wikipedia, I have the pleasure of being an administrator since July 2013. Until the wikis were locked, I was also admin at the wikis for Wikimania 2015 and 2016. I spend probably as much time reading in the wikiverse as editing. Again and again I'm impressed (and interested) by the international scope of the Wikimedia movement. I would like to serve as a steward, if I gain your trust.
My main focus as an administrator is (and would be as a steward) the fight against vandalism, sock puppeteers and trolls. Often, I check global contribs of these, report them at steward requests/global, steward mail or WMF's trust & safety team and revert their vandalism whereever it happens. I do not back off if things became technical (i.e. abuse filters). The checkuser and oversight tools would be new for me, as IRC, but I'm willing to learn new things. I consider myself as cool-headed and thorough.
