Reason

[edit]

I'm currently working with an android smartphone & that too of a friend of mine.it's very hard to work with a android smartphone specially when translations needs to be written it'll be very helpful if l get a laptop. Then I can focus on better quality.please note that it may seem that I have contributed very little compared to other user but it is because of the fact that it's extremely difficult to translate & edit by an android smartphone. That's why a laptop will greatly help me to act as an hyper active contributor.

I hail from the northeastern region of this country( India) where internet connectivity is much underdeveloped compared to other States & for high speed data facilities we have to pay a good sum of money.

Future activities

How will you use this in the next six months? I intend to translate several pages make some important edits.I'm pentalingual so I can translate better ( Bengali, Assamese, kokborok, Hindi , English) .for the next six month I'll try to add as many subject as possible and specially. primarily my focus will be on topics related to north east India .because as a resident of Tripura I've always felt that north east India is highly underrated. There are many more things to explore elaborately. Through this laptop I'll be able to show my motherland with more details. Also I've seen that many topics related to india are wrong or outdated. So once I get a laptop I'll try to remove these discrepancies as much as possible.that's why a laptop will do a great favour of me.I also intend to participate in edia-a-thons & other Wikipedia projects. Also I will actively participate in wikivoyage, mostly discussing about the north eastern region of India, which is highly underrated due to lack of proper tourism related article. I also make Wikipedia more famous in my region by introducing new articles related to cultural heritage & diversity of this place in local language & among local population.I will also translate science & engineering topics to Bengali & Assamese in order to familiarize kids to the beauty of science & technology in their own language. We certainty lack in quality translated content from scientific background, for which kids from rural India show less interest in STEM( science engineering technology & mathematics) subject. surely when student will learn science in their own language it'll definitely attract them towards science.

Hey there I wanna change the inconvenience faced due to lack of translated pages. Although it may seem like Bengali is a Bangladeshi language it's also spoken in many parts of India and I'm an Indian and also it's my mother tongue.I badly need a laptop in order to improve my quality in translation & editing.& also to be time efficient.

Wikipedia is showing that I have submitted the application twice. is it going to be ok? if not ,what to do?
