• Tamil Wikipedia. I would like to contribute to Tamil Wikipedia. Though I have a decent mobile phone and access to a friend's computer (when he isn't using), lack of own computer prevents me from writing articles in my convenient time. I had to wait till my room mate finishes his task.
• English Wikipedia
• Wikimedia Commons. I upload pictures related to Tamil Nadu whichever I take. As a phone was recently gifted to me, I take pictures and upload them to commons under CC0 which might have any educational value.
• I have not participated in Tamil Wikinews project so far, but I am very interested to participate in it and to make the project site active again, at least with the updates of important news.

( I currently have internet provided by my college. If I have a laptop alone I can manage. But it would be really helpful if I have an internet as I would soon finish the term and join an internship. But if there is someone who has immediate requirement for the internet, I would wish to give them preference )

Reason

Why do you need this support (Internet and laptop)

I would like to actively participate in Tamil Wikipedia. I had an old laptop for sometime, but I was using GNU/Linux and I used to localise the software. Now I only have the mobile phone and with this, I am not able to actively participate in contributing to Wikimedia projects. I am in my college and even once I complete, I don't think I can get a computer soon. I have to clear the educational loan and then struggle to become a middle class from poor is quite high. Having a laptop would really motivate me to participate actively in the Wikimedia projects.

Future activities

How will you use this in the next six months?

I would like to create and improve articles in Tamil Wikipedia, especially the ones relating to Economic, Business Management, Socialism and Politics. I am very excited about the Tamil Wikiversity which is in Beta. I would contribute to it and spread information about it and get my friends to join me to get a Tamil Wikiversity domain.
