Suggesting articles[edit]

If you are a regular editor of any of the 6 Celtic languages, then please add Qid codes of articles relevant to your nation. You may look at these as your wish list! At the end of the day, the whole lot will be turned into '100 articles relevant to the Celtic nations every Wikipedia should have'. Enjoy! Mwynhewch! To find the Qid...[edit]

  1. Copy the name of the person, place or thing in Wikidata here. Type in the article you would like eg Charlotte Church.
  2. Ensure you're chosing the correct Charlotte Church!
  3. to the right of the name you will see, in parenthesis, her Qid. In this case it's Q231207.

Now you can copy this Qid into the suggested list, in the following way:

  1. Find the list you want to add your suggested person (or place / thing)
  2. Click on the edit button, and something like following will be visible: {{#invoke:LanguageMatrix|Celtic|Q8798|Q454}}
  3. Add a pipe ( | ) + the Qid code you found. eg {{#invoke:LanguageMatrix|Celtic|Q8798|Q454|Q231207}} Then Save / Publish! Check your work.
  4. Make a paned (that's a cup of tea!) and enjoy!

There's no such thing as a permanent mistake on Wikipedia! Be brave! Edit! Enjoy! Llywelyn2000 (talk) 10:40, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A great start![edit]

A great start! Diolch / thanks to everyone! I've simplified the point system; any thoughts on this or how we can bring other editors into our fold would be appreciated eg leave a note on someone's Talk page, Community page, wiki-email etc. Diolch eto! Merci bras! Llywelyn2000 (talk) 05:35, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
