Consider sharing educational material...[edit]

...as I am sure people without advanced user rights are also curious about topics presented. Zblace (talk) 07:12, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Zblace: We will be sharing the full curriculum at the end of the pilot period for anyone interested in self-study. The curriculum will be posted here and should be available by early-April 2021. Best, SRamkisson (WMF)
@Zblace: I wanted to share a quick update that we will be posting the final curriculum along with the evaluation report of the pilot. We will have a date shortly.

It should be made public[edit]

Dealing with harassment is one thing that most people could learn (As much as self-defense). I'm not the one to decide what the course entails, but that would be beneficial to make that public, like I said earlier. MarioSuperstar77 (talk) 14:35, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@MarioSuperstar77:At the end of the pilot and evaluation period, we will be releasing the full course for anyone interested in self-study. We want to ensure we incorporate participant feedback to improve the quality of the content and the learning experience. We plan to pose the full curriculum in mid-April 2021. Best, SRamkisson (WMF)
@SRamkisson (WMF): If you're trying to send a notification MarioSuperstar77 to let them know that you've replied, the template {{Reply to}} is probably the easiest way to do that. Vexations (talk) 16:16, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Vexations: Thank you, much appreciated, best SRamkisson (WMF)
@SRamkisson (WMF) and MarioSuperstar77: I should have mentioned that for the notification to work, the edit must include the four tildes (~~~~) that will be turned into your signature. (I'm terrible at this myself: a substantial portion of my edits consist of adding a signature that I forgot) Vexations (talk) 23:26, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@SRamkisson (WMF): Any way you can let me know where you posted the full course? Chess (talk) 21:59, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Chess at the moment we are still gathering all the content from both courses. We recorded the sessions live and we want to make sure we are protecting our volunteers who participated in the courses. Once we have the content structured where we can present the courses we will make an announcement when they are available. Best, Cassie Casares (talk) 18:12, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@CCasares (WMF): I don't believe for a second you've been "gathering all the content" for over a year and that's why you've missed your self-imposed April 2021 deadline by 10-11 months. Chess (talk) 07:05, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for organizing this course for us and for doing it on sturdays, a day which is more convenient for volunteersǃ I enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. Maybe there will be an "advanced course" at some point?
