For anyone looking for a dark skin that can be used now: download the css from mw:Skin:Vector-DarkCSS, then copy-paste into Special:MyPage/vector.css on your wiki. Note: some parts are not re-skinned. —Aron Man.🍂 hist🌾 13:18, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Related user-script - Invert[edit]

I just found w:en:User:BrandonXLF/Invert and it's not mentioned in the wishlist discussion, so I'm mentioning here. It seems to function by adding code to your common.css each time it is toggled (I didn't make that edit manually). Dark mode userscript available[edit]

Why desktop first?[edit]

Dark mode is a great idea that is long overdue. I agree with just about everything here except the desktop first prioritization. More users come to wikis through mobile, and dark themes are quite popular on mobile apps. Flounder ceo (talk) 12:50, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
