How is Teemu Leinonen's work going on?[edit]

The article mentioned that Teemu Leinonen from Helsinki, Finland, is working on a SMS initiated text-to-speech gateway for wikipedia over cellphones. What is the status of this project?

How well other commercial products, such as Internet Speech, could bring Wikipedia searches using Speech Recognition to TTS over cellphones or land lines?

Distributing Wikipedia to Africa[edit]

Wouldn't be a satellite channel preferrable to distributing Wikipedia on DVD? One could use DVB-S2 to distribute DVB-DATA and send a WikiTV channel for schools, and possibly made in part by African schools, as the video component of the channel. --Fasten 17:59, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
