Adding Social media tags?[edit]

Grafting[edit]

Currently, Wikipedia Vi is having a discussion regarding a possible graft (abuse of public funding for personal use). User:Diepaplpg19 is chosen to represent Wikimedia Vietnam at ESEAP Conference 2022 despite having close to 0 edits in all Wikimedia projects and being a new account. The account is created "recently" with the sole purpose of getting a free vacation to Australia. How does Diepaplpg19 pass the criteria to be chosen to participate in this event? I want to confirm whether or not Diepaplpg19 is truly a participant of this event. Can anyone please confirm? Wikipedia Vi community is currently outraged about this corruption. It has been confirmed that Diepaplpg19 is indeed a participant representing Vietnamese Wikipedia to ASEAP Conference. This is indeed a graft (corruption)! Diepaplpg19 was nominated by Vietnamese UG leader Alphama, despite this user has never been a contributor to any Wikimedia project. Diepaplpg19 knows nothing about Wikipedia or any other Wikimedia projects. Diepaplpg19 doesn't deserve 3215 AUD (grant money) to attend the conference. Many Vietnamese editors are suspecting that Diepaplpg19 and Alphama know each other in real life. Vietnamese Wikipedia is having a discussion to punish this abusive act with the possible removal of sysop hat from the person that is responsible for this misuse of public funds. Email[edit]

I just received an email from eseap.conf@wikimedia.org.au. The ESEAP Organizing Committee is refusing to admit their mistake and their responsibility. They asked me to contact AFFCOM, which is useless. They said they welcome any editor with any experience. Any experience is not the same as absolute 0 experience and 0 contribution to the Wikimedia movement as a whole. Diepaplpg19 has confessed for having 0 contributions to the Wikimedia movement as a whole yet was chosen to participate in ESEAP. To be clear, Diepaplpg19 was chosen when Diepaplpg19 had 0 edits overall, and a few edits afterward don't count. A few edits can't qualify for grant money anyways.
