How does this align with the Education newsletter?

[edit]

Hi @Bukky658 and James Moore200: I am really delighted to know about the Wikimania SDGs 2022 held in Nigeria where over 40 participants across five states participated. The topics of the sessions are also quite fascinating. While we are happy to share your success with the rest of the community, we also need to understand if this the right space to publish this article or shall we look for more options like the diff blog. Here are a few guiding questions that I have, that may help you align your article. Please let me know if you need more help.

  • Did you arrange a collaborative project with an educational institution?
  • Have you involved teachers or students in this program?
  • What are the learnings that participants (students, teachers, or Wikimedians) have by taking part in this program?
  • Does it advocates for open education in your region? Can you align the article with these questions.

Thanks for your observations and need for articles to align with the guiding questions. Below are reasons why this article aligns with the Education newsletter;
  • The project was a collaborative efforts involving different students from 5 institutions in Nigeria.
  • The participants were all students in higher institutions of learning.
  • Students were exposed to the impacts of SDGs in different sectors in Nigeria; the need to priorities SDGs and advocate for any of the goals they are passionate about; learn from first -hand experience of SDGs Advocate ;and also connect with Wikimedians globally during the conference.
  • Yes it does.
very well, will do. Bukky658 (talk) 06:43, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
