Fountain[edit]

Is there a preferred name to give this contest in Fountain? Also, I don't see a {{talkpagetag}}. Do we have one? Darkfrog24 (talk) 14:11, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm having trouble getting Fountain to enact the page for the Simple English Wikipedia. Every time I hit "save," it shotputs me back to the main page. Darkfrog24 (talk) 02:08, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Darkfrog24 the fountain tool might be created and awaiting local administrator permission. Kindly ask any of the local administrator of Simple English Wikipedia to login to fountain and click on their user name on the top right corner and in the approval tab to accept the contest. Hope that helps to get the fountain tool live. --Tiven2240 (talk) 03:07, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent! Thanks! Darkfrog24 (talk) 03:10, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

About Manipuri wikipedia[edit]

@Tiven2240: Hello Tiven! Please help me to add mni:ꯋꯤꯀꯤꯄꯦꯗꯤꯌꯥ:ꯅꯨꯄꯥ ꯅꯨꯄꯤ ꯊꯥꯛ ꯃꯥꯟꯅꯍꯟꯕ ꯑꯃꯗꯤ ꯈꯨꯟꯅꯨꯡ ꯆꯠꯅꯂꯣꯟ/꯲꯰꯲꯲ at this page's listing. And I have some questions! There are less active users at Manipuri wikipedia. So, I am to organize the contest. If there's another user ready to be a jury, can I (organizer) become participant in article creations/expansions? I will not judge any articles I submit for the contest.

Another thing, how shall I create a fountain page for the Manipuri edition of the contest? Haoreima (talk) 10:24, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Haoreima you can organise Feminism and Folklore in Manipuri language, you can organise and can be a jury also. For your edited articles whom you would like to have as a jury member? Kindly provide username I will create Fountain tool and provide link once you share with me the another jury name. Kindly ask an local administrator to approve the fountain tool using top right corner and in the approval tab to accept the contest. --Tiven2240 (talk) 14:42, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tiven2240: I will abstain myself from judging any articles I submit. Seems User:Awangba Mangang joins the jury membership, then I can either be a side supporting jury to judge others' submissions or I may quite from being a jury. But at least I want to participate in writing articles. User:Awangba Mangang is our local admin, and he approved it. Here's the link: https://fountain.toolforge.org/editathons/mni Can I write and submit articles in this condition? Haoreima (talk) 14:52, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima Sure that works.@User:Awangba Mangang thanks for approving. Also i have added the project page in the table. Thanks for organizing Feminism and folklore on the Manipuri language Wikipedia. We are happy to have you with us. --Tiven2240 (talk) 15:28, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tiven2240: Please wait! Can I submit articles if I am still a jury? Or, if there would be problem, I will quite from being a jury. For that, how should I remove myself from the jury list? My sole purpose is to write and submit articles. Please clarify me my doubts. Haoreima (talk) 15:45, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima Yes you can submit articles if you are a jury member. Please see that your contribution are judged by another jury member. Thanks --Tiven2240 (talk) 16:24, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tiven2240: Sorry for frequent disturbances but one last thing! I saw "The editathon will end in 15 hours" appearing in the Manipuri fountain. Was it malfunctioned? How shall we fix it? It's not only for us! Assamese fountain says "The editathon will end in 3 days". Haoreima (talk) 09:09, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @HaoreimaIt shows 2 month's for me. Please check now --Tiven2240 (talk) 10:52, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tiven2240: Thanks for confirmation. Thanks to User Le Loy also. He fixed it. :) Haoreima (talk) 11:02, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion in Fountain[edit]

How do I set Fountain to allow an expanded article and not merely a newly created one? Darkfrog24 (talk) 13:37, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Darkfrog24: According to my experience, as I am the organizer in Meitei Wikipedia, it's set during the creation of the fountain page. But once the page is created, then I don't know the way to reform it. A few moments back I contact User Le Loy (he prefers email talk, particular email address given at his talk page) through which he helps me fixing some malfunction for the fountain page of Meitei Wikipedia Ediathon of the same event. Haoreima (talk) 13:42, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Darkfrog24: How is the matter going on? Haoreima (talk) 06:16, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tiven2240: Can you provide some insight into this problem? Should I just create a new Fountain program and leave out the start date? Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:55, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Darkfrog24 and Tiven2240: Meanwhile, I contacted User Le Loy through mail. He fixed some problems (I think not fully). He altered the setting by allowing the articles created before 1st February to be added (not directly submitted). Adding and submission seem to be different here. Adding is just to keep such articles in queue for the approval of juries for the next step "submission". After that, normal step "Accept/Decline" will come. But this additional procedure will not be there for articles created within February 1-March 31. Haoreima (talk) 13:16, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
