Initializing Ibibio for Ibibio Wikimedians User Group[edit]

Initializing Ibibio[edit]

  • We the members of the non recognized Ibibio Group will be organizing an edit-a-thon to introduce Wikimedia projects to Ibibio native speakers who will in turn contribute by creating and translating articles to Ibibio language on Ibibio Wikipedia on Incubator.
  • The project will be a 2-day in-person edit-a-thon.

Ibibio Language on Translatewiki.net[edit]

  • We the members of the non recognized Ibibio Group will be organizing a translate-a-thon to recruit and train old and new Ibibio language editors that will be recruited to translate the most important messages of the MediaWiki software on translatewiki.net.
  • The project will be a 2-day in-person translate-a-thon.
