choosing books, rules[edit]

hi, who is responsible for choosing books list either local community coordinator or program coordinator.?

rule no 13 & 14 i see negative marks in wiki first time. supreme court also mention that negative marks are followed by only in our country. do you think is it fair? i think this rule is complicated. many pages have minor mistakes (due to ocr) if you accept with minor mistakes and give some time to rectify later it'll make a confusion. simply if have some mistakes juries will reject with reason. user can resubmit with the rectification. thanks Sridhar G (talk) 17:35, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you @Sridhar G: for your queries. I am trying to explain your concern.

  • For the list of books, anyone could suggest the books. The books should be classical literature of your language domain and it should have the public domain. It should uploaded in Wikimedia Commons. Please try to find out that some books which should not available in another third party website with unicoded formatted text.
  • The native marking happened when the Administrator/Reviewer revert the pages. Before revert, the Administrator/Reviewer should send the messages about his/her mistakes to the user who will do the proofread/validate. The user has time to rectify 24hr his/her mistake. Without discussion/communicate with the respective user, the Administrator/Reviewer has no right to revert the pages. The Proofread is the main process to rectify the mistakes done by OCR. Finally, the decision would be done with due respect to each other. Be leave me this will not be complicated. We are accepting the minor mistakes done by user (not done by OCR) before saving any pages to assign proofread with above rules rule no 13 & 14. Some times those minor mistakes rectified by validator to validate the pages. The validator will got 1 point. So its a decision and understanding with the whole community/administrator/reviewer, whether he/she should validate the pages OR send the messages to user. The the same user repeatedly doing this, the administrator/reviewer may send the messages to user to rectify instead of validate the pages. Thanks for your understanding. • We'll check and get back to you on this. It would be good to set a criteria for certificates as well (minimal participation). Also note, due to current lockdown and related issues, couriering (if required) certificates might be delayed. Regards, --Tito (CIS-A2K) (talk) 02:58, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Jayanta (CIS-A2K) and Tito (CIS-A2K): J.JAYAPRIYA has scored 673 points (user:JEYA SCHOOL),T. SUGAPRIYA (user:SUGI SCHOOL)has scored 606 points. They have done this by mobile itself . I hope these points are deserve for the certificate . if it comes with their real name instead of the user name it'll be good.

// due to current lockdown and related issues, couriering (if required) certificates might be delayed// yes. take your time. Sridhar G (talk) 08:06, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
