why not on Outreach wiki?[edit]

Hi Bukky658! Is there a reason why not having this on Outreach wiki? --Zblace (talk) 09:23, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is because meta wiki tend to gain more publicity and use by the larger Wiki community. Meta-Wiki pages can be easily translated into other languages, and enriched and adapted based on local needs and contexts. It can be easily connected with other Wikimedia projects and especially Wikidata. I have also observed that most of the information on Outreach wiki are archival. Also this choice was based on a joint agreement with the CC-GLAM-RESOURCES GROUP. Bukky658 (talk) 10:37, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

why Open_Culture/GLAM_Glossary and short:Wiki-GLAM[edit]

Pardon if I sound to critical (I like the format and style of the page content), but it is a bit strange to see it places as Open_Culture/GLAM_Glossary and short:Wiki-GLAM, as Open_Culture has no page, but has a subpage with lings to more future subpages...also you establish short:Wiki-GLAM, while GLAMwiki or GLAM-wiki has been used across Wikimedia fairly consistently. --Zblace (talk) 23:16, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It is really a doubt for me. GLAM-Wiki seems to me as a term used more for partnerships between Wiki afilliates and GLAM institutions. And we would like this Glossary to be wider (most people in this working group are not wikimedians). So the shortcut is something like "this is the MetaWiki page for GLAM glossary". Does it make sense? I am open to suggestions. Thanks Sintegrity (talk) 23:19, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
