Question about qualifications[edit]

How do you determine which flag(s) count as "administrator rights"? The "admin" flag has different attributes on different wikis - for example, on en.wikipedia, there are more permissions associated with being an "admin" than on simple.wikipedia. Further, some wikis have "admin lite" flags, such as pt.wikipedia's pt:Wikipédia:Eliminadores. How do you determine if your flag "counts" under the election guidelines? --Philosopher Let us reason together. 18:46, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is probably not so much about the specific user rights listed on Special:Listgrouprights, as the differences that exist aren't so big and all wikis still have the user group called "administrator". So you can see if it's the right flag when you check Special:Listadmins on the respective wiki. --MF-W 18:54, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I didn't make my question explicit enough, sorry. My real question was why "admin lite" flags, like pt:Wikipédia:Eliminadores wouldn't be sufficient for these purposes, since they bestow administrator rights (specifically, the ability to delete, revisiondelete, and undelete)? --Philosopher Let us reason together. 20:33, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination statement[edit]

We should discuss the requirements for the nomination statement here. There was a suggestion at Stewards/Elections_2012/Votes/Cekli829 that it has to be in English, but I don't see this anywhere. Superm401 | Talk 14:10, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clarity about voting process[edit]

Please could someone clarify in the content page whether we have a limited number of votes, or can vote positive/netural/negative for as many or as few candidates as we require. I am user en:Egg Centric for purposes of signature, you'll just have to trust me on that :D

Hello. You can vote one time for each candidate if you're eligible to vote. Cordially, -- Quentinv57 (talk) 20:45, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
