Confusing?[edit]

I am bewildered by these instructions on voting, mostly because they don't seem to fit the "voting paper":

"To vote, view the vote page of the candidate, through either clicking the link from their statement page or clicking any of the yes/no/neutral options from the main hub page. From there, right below the candidate statement is a "vote" button - press it, select your vote, enter an optional rationale and submit your vote. Your vote will be added right away, and your eligibility will be checked after."

I would like, therefore, to suggest some changes to make the two fit together, or so that someone can clarify what the actual process of voting is:

Voters[edit]

Before voting[edit]

(as is)

To vote[edit]

View the statement of a candidate by clicking on their name. Clicking "yes", "no" or "neutral" for any candidate also displays their statement, but also provides a 'VOTE' button, and listings of the voters who have voted 'yes', 'no', or 'neutral' for that candidate.

Clicking the "vote" button presents a voting form pop-up. Select "yes", "no" or "neutral", enter an optional comment/rationale, and click the un-greyed out 'vote' button on the form. Your vote will be added right away; your eligibility will be checked afterwards."

Note: It is possible to change your vote after having cast it. (How this? Until when? What about the comment? etc.)

Hope that makes sense. I should have just voted rather than figuring out how to explain how to vote! LookingGlass (talk) 16:24, 11 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
