Talk:Strategy/Wikimedia movement/2018-20/Reports/Interview about the 2030 recommendations

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Hello Tanveer, Marc, thank you for taking the time and share your thoughts. I was happy with your respectful tone, and I am going to have a closer look at Marc's scientific contributions.

In previous "recommendations" or "iterations", there have been sentences or elements that had a very negative effect for the relations within the movement. I hope that it will be possible to improve relationships. Ziko (talk) 14:11, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ziko Thanks for your comment. Yes, I remember those negative situations. I did feel terrible for us (WG members) as well. We were simply not aware of the context and the implications of those iterations being published in meta. It has been like running a marathon and learning how to run almost at the same time. As I said in the interview, I'm glad of the final result. By the way, just yesterday they published this personal article in The Signpost, if you want to take a look I think it is close your research interests. And I even cite you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2020-05-31/Special_report --Marcmiquel (talk) 11:44, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
