4 years later - what was the result of this?

@JSutherland (WMF): You were maintaining this page in 2016. So far as I know this is the central page for the discussion about a possible update with Creative Commons 4.0. It seems that there was no update after the close of the discussion. Is there some other page for managing this?

What came of this discussion? Did anyone at the Wikimedia Foundation publish a conclusion or take any action as a result of this conversation?
