It is wonderful that things such as autofill citation templates and tables are planned for near future. This is exactly what will make VisualEditor a viable alternative to Wikimarkup. Thank you! Actually, adding tables will be already possible on Wikipedias when this bulletin gets delivered (in the meantime you can test it at mw:VisualEditor:Test.
