Scare[edit]

One thing the advertisers usually don't do: making you feel like death is imminent. That's more similar to the "war on terror" manipulative propaganda and all the mass communication abuses which prepared wars since the 19th century. Nemo 06:59, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think it has something to do with creating urgency. Intentionally making something bigger and more important than it is - fight on drugs isn't enough, we need a full out, war on drugs - capital letters, exclamation mark.
