International outcomes?[edit]

Hello Wiki Ed, just wondering: did you also measure the international outcomes? I remember enrolling Wikimedia Czech Republic's event as a part of the Year in Science. I would have liked to see that in a wider perspective :-). Thanks for your work on Year of Science, --Vojtěch Dostál (talk) 17:13, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Vojtěch Dostál: Thanks, and great question — we did not; this evaluation report is just focused on what Wiki Ed staff did. I know not only did WM-CZ do some Year of Science work, but also a few other entities did as well. For example, I'll note that the Simons edit-a-thons we mentioned we evaluated in the context of whether they helped us recruit program participants, rather than evaluating their outcomes to Wikipedia. To make it clearer that this evaluation is just focused on Wiki Ed's work, I added a sentence to the introduction. I hope that helps clarify. I also encourage WM-CZ and others to do their own evaluations of their Year of Science activities too. :) --LiAnna (Wiki Ed) (talk) 00:07, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright[edit]

Too bad you didn't find a magic wand to make students understand image copyright issues! And it's much worse in EU... --Nemo 22:37, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Nemo bis: If you do find that magic wand, let us know! --LiAnna (Wiki Ed) (talk) 00:09, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
