Can you clarify what is exactly included in

  • press and
  • events

Usually... it is transport, food... but those are already listed below in the table. Can you be a bit more specific ?

Also, I noted that you planned some post contest edit-a-thons; but there is no associated measure of success on this.

I would need information to put categories in front of your budget lines.... but your lines are not clear. Please clarify them and add a category in front of each budget line.

Possible categories do include

  • Communication - Marketing (advertisement, flyers, tee-shirts etc.)
  • Marketing Campaign
  • Stationary apart from marketing
  • Internet and phone expenses
  • Events (food, drinks, rent, air-conditioning, projector)
  • Travel (train, bus, car, fuel)
  • Salaries and stipends
  • Gifts (books, amazon vouchers, prints etc.)
  • Gifts in cash


Hello Anthere I have updated the budget adding a category column to make it more clear, what we had earlier on indicated as events is the fee for the venue, including a fee for hiring a projector. And for press, we usually pay a travel stipend for a journalist covering the events.

We have also added at least 2 articles produced during the competition as a result of the editations at local universities.
