I may be able to help with English to Afrikaans translation. Is this possible wm funding from the Shuttleworth Foundation? — Jeandré, 2005-03-23t13:12z

Japanese: ?%

English: 20%?

Italian: 7%? (Grandi felini, Gli animali del bosco)

Other than already ongoing work and translation, what languages should we try to get in the print edition initially?

Base it on

  • Wikipedia popularity (German, Japanese, French, Swedish),
  • on total international speakers (Chinese, Spanish),
  • on potential for extra international initiative funding (Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Afrikaans),
  • on lack of youth media (requires research), or
  • on factors like repopulation of speakers (Gaelic)?
