Question[edit]

Visas[edit]

  • Thank you for planning a WikiMania in Tunesia. If I may, I would like to ask a question about the visa section. One country not mentioned that comes to my mind is Israel. Can Israeli citizens obtain visa for Tunesia? For the transport section: it should be mentioned that Monastir airport ist the biggest in Tunesia and has plenty of affordable flight options. I wish you good luck for you bidding. --Gereon K. (talk) 19:00, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Basically Tunisia doesn't bar any country from entering its territory. In the registration, we will provide invitation letter for those who may need it to get visa.--Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Venue[edit]

850 for the auditorium + (150 seats in the hall + giant TV)--Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • If the main hall is 15 min walks fro m the venue it poses a problem – wasting time commuting between keynote lectures and opening and closing event to the sessions. Deror avi (talk) 19:54, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In fact it is 10min (https://goo.gl/maps/UbQSh) Page is updated.--Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Included in the technical budget, however we will try to get it as part of the sponsorship from one of the local network operators. Page updated --Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conference Dates[edit]

Date is shifted. --Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Accomodations[edit]

Most of them could be reached by walk (less than 20min). Taking taxi is also possible for some hotels and that will be between $2 to $5 --Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Update is done --Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

LGBT rights[edit]

Taking local culture into consideration, LGBT meetup will not be feasible in Monastir. --Vivaystn (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
