Measurements[edit]

I have started drafting the evaluation system of the conference. It is really a draft. The expected results need to be reviewed once we have more elements related to the logistics. The criteria also need to be discussed with the team to make sure they respond clearly to what we want to accomplish. --iopensa (talk) 15:37, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Should be include outreach? new editors? Frieda thinks that there are still many people who need to "discover" that you can edit Wikipedia and they can be willing to join in. Personally I think if we add it to the expected results we need also to make sure we take care of editors retention. And I find this still a very tricky result to guarantee. I think it would make sense that volunteers joining the event (people who is not an editor jet) register on Wikipedia/Wikipedia projects. It is simple and it is a sign they sign up. I think some of the people might like the idea of uploading their photos and it would be nice to provide different chances to play and discover Wikipedia behind the scenes. It can be also particularly cool for students. We can have an impact by involving media but do we really want to follow up on the editors' retention issue? --iopensa (talk) 10:20, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
