Hello Applicant, Thank you for applying for the Wikimania 2022 Affiliate Grantǃ There are some questions about your proposal - At the moment, $1500 is for Travel/lodging scholarships - how many people would be covered exactly? Thank you.--Venuslui 9 June 2022 (UTC)

Hi @Venuslui: We were thinking to provide travel funds for anyone who attends and requests it. We estimate 25 attendees, though naturally not all would request a stipend, so I would estimate ~20 travel reimbursements. If we should have some sort of requirement (e.g. participants apply up-front for a scholarship) or limit (e.g. maximum reimbursement amount per participant) please let us know. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 07:57, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure where this should go but we can collect interested people here.

Funded[edit]

Hello, This Wikimania 2022 grant proposal is funded. We would like to thank you again for supporting Wikimania 2022ǃ Venuslui (talk) 00:05, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Venuslui: Thank you! I have a follow-up question. If we have leftover funds (e.g. if we underspend our meetup and contingency costs), could we re-allocate that money for travel reimbursements? We have people traveling from several states and it would be great to be able to help cover costs as much as possible. Thank you! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 18:12, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
