Concerning loss of authors for wikipedia: It is not obvious from the wikipedia how to become an author. It is not only a loss of authors, it is also a loss of information. On the other hand from my insight into a german encyclopedia where many anonymous authors work for a book, there are a editorial staff for cross check and a publishing house behind who take reponsibility. Ways out: I suggest to make the way how to become an author more transparent and to give support by wikimeadia. This should be advertized to the readers. I would be happy if my donations wold be used for that purpose. The percentage of women that are active in chats and help forums at least in the area of health care is quite high in contrast to the authorship in wikipedia.
