Wikipedia Incubator!?[edit]

..... Seems the SITENAME variable of the incubator: is still using Wikipedia Incubator, is that need to send a mail to the developers to tell the change of the SITENAME variable? --Shinjiman 15:51, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I already did (by coincidence, about an hour ago). Thanks anyway. Daniel () Check out Wikiscope! 16:15, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Completely New Projects vs. New Language Projects on Incubator[edit]

There is some question if Wikimedia Incubator is for Completely New Projects and New Language Projects, or merely New Language Projects. See this discussion on Wikimedia Incubator for more information. Squideshi 22:29, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning unclear[edit]

I cannot understand the content of the first sentence. It says:

"The Wikimedia Incubator is where potential Wikimedia Foundation wikis of existing Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikibooks, Wikiquote and Wikinews – Wikisource and Wikiversity) have their own wikis in additional languages should be arranged, written, tested, and proven worthy of Wikimedia hosting."

It seems there are two sentences that have been glued together.

I agree that was pretty rough. I've tried to smooth it out some, though a better writer could make it flow a lot more. Courcelles 04:10, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Incubator as destination for closed projects[edit]

Seems there are two types of projects in the incubator - those initiated in the manner described in the article, and those closed due to inactivity. Suggest mention of the latter category and brief discussion of that dynamic. TIA.--A12n (talk) 17:30, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
