@Nemo bis: Thank you! It's an interesting collection with a nice combination of museum objects and every day life scenes and I hope it gets picked up over time. The museum had a rather nice photo exhibit on Aleppo, so it was a nice coincidence that this upload was done at this time.
Uploading with Pattypan is pretty straightforward, if you know your way around Commons templates and know how to operate Excel. The hard part is mapping and cleaning the metadata, and getting images into categories. This is often still handwork, and some users have done great work on further categorizing the images in this collection. Best, --AWossink (talk) 10:03, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
