Problem on Simple English Wikipedia

Since yesterday, at least one of the functions of Twinkle hasn't been working right on Simple English Wikipedia. When I try to use the "quick delete" function. I click on the "quick delete" tab at the top of the page, click on the reason for the delete and then press enter. All I get are these messages:

Checking if page exists: It seems that the page doesn't exists, perhaps it has already been deleted
Tagging complete: completed

In no case I've tried was the page actually gone. Could this be due to the software upgrade? --Auntof6 03:42, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

Another thing I noticed about the same time: when I go to http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:SpecialPages, many of the entries are now in Italics, which wasn't the case before. When I click on one of those, such as "Wanted categories", the list comes up with the message "The following data is cached and may not be up to date.". Until recently, that list would instead show the date and time that the list was last updated. Might this also be from the change? --Auntof6 03:47, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
  • Can't speak on the wanted categories issue, but I'd have to assume the twinkle issue is just that, an issue with twinkle not yet being compatible with the software update. Would have to be fixed on simple, not through meta.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 04:01, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
Yeah the twinkle thing is normal. Our twinkle is always broken as it was just copied to simple but not all of the necessary backend stuff was copied here so we constantly have issues with it when things are changed or upgraded. Its why we warn people it doesn't actually work and using it is sort of an "at your own risk" scenario. So in this case its not yet optimized for the new version. As for the most wanted categories I believe I heard something about it being updated all the time now so that might be why there is no date anymore and just a warning that the page is cached so may be slightly out of date. But I am not sure on that one. -Djsasso 11:55, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
Yes, any changes in the interface on the simple Wikipedia is likely due to the new version of the software. guillom 12:36, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

Problem with the bookmanager (Collection Extension)

Hi,

The Collection Extension doesn't work on the upgraded projects, giving a Javascript-alert box with an error message:

ERROR: Version mismatch between Javascript and PHP code. Contact admin to fix the installation of Collection extension for MediaWiki.

See, for example: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciaal:Boek or http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Book.
BTW, I will file a bugreport later on, if still necessary, but I'm not at home and don't have my bugzilla password with me. MrBlueSky 18:50, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Fixed ([1]). Thanks Mark and Aaron for reporting and fixing it. MrBlueSky 21:17, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Changing blocks

It seems to be impossible to change an existing block without unblocking. Could this please be fixed? Mathonius 12:56, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Also, when blocking registered users block options dedicated for anonymous users shouldn't be there, like the old interface used to work. Can this be fixed too? Best regards. —Marco Aurelio (disputatio) 13:10, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

En wiki watchlist

I've got the show all changes, not just recent, option marked in my watchilist, which normally forces the list to hid the article changes in dropdown boxes that I can manually openn. Somehow, that isn't working now. Buggie111 01:40, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Same thing for me. No collapsing. cimanyD from Wikipedia (contact me) 03:05, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

new bugs/problem appearing since MW 1.18 update

Here a link to the increasing list of update-associated problems on Commons. --Túrelio 14:04, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi,

I used to look for pages (wikipedia fr, en, de and commons) by typing a few letters from the title and clicking the appropriate suggestion from the search bar, which led me directly to the article. But now, clicking the suggestion only fills the field but doesn't directly load the page. It seems to be the case since the change to mediawiki 1.18. It this intentional or could it be changed back?
