About me

I am a designer and software developer specialized in Open-source technologies. Deeply engaged in projects with high social impact in Africa, I target sensible sectors such as education and health. One of the most salient projects is probably Avenue225, an initiative that helped +60 youth to learn web journalism and find a job in a highly competitive environment.
Having graduated in Public Law , I co-funded E-voir in 2011, a start-up offering solutions in media and web marketing.

My work

Since 2008, as African Hope, I have been editing Wikipedia, in French mainly, as well as its sister projects such as Commons, where my bot gives a helping hand. Alongside with my volunteering editing, I was involved in the growth of the local User Group, Wikimedia Community User Group of Côte d’Ivoire (WCUG-CI). I had the chance to experience differents roles within the movement: Wikipedian in Residence, GLAM-WIKI Coordinator, Strategy Coordinator for WMF, Vice-Chair of the WCUG-CI, member of the Steering Committee of Wikipedia Libraries User Group partly due to my work with GLAMs in general and libraries in West Africa.
