WikiInklusi is our initiative related to the Wikimedia movement and social inclusion issues in Indonesia, especially the documentation of knowledge about marginalized communities, rural women, the environment, and open access to knowledge. Some of its activities include Wikipedia/Wikimedia Commons editing training, photo documentation, and digital literacy campaigns.

WikiInklusi is connected with the Wiki for Human Rights campaign, which focuses on documenting environmental and human rights issues in Indonesia.

Currently, WikiInklusi serves as a community platform for marginalized groups, rural women, and persons with disabilities through editing workshops held in several cities in Indonesia, including Malang.

This project promotes the concept of “inclusion” within the Wikimedia movement in Indonesia, especially:

regional languages, access to knowledge for marginalized communities, women’s representation, disability inclusion, and the documentation of cultural heritage and local practices, such as traditional herbal medicine (jamu), women’s farming practices, and others.
