Hello

The New Readers team is working to help make more people aware of Wikipedia in areas of the world where there isn't much awareness. The team has done this with video campaigns in the recent past. We will be running an experiment for a few weeks starting in Mid-May. The experiment will show a banner to visitors on certain articles asking them to participate in a prototype. Visitors will also be asked to provide feedback. We want to make you all aware of the experiment and prototype. The focus for this effort is not on current contributors, but people who are aware of Wikipedia and want to read content in their language.
