Goal[edit]

The goal of the conference is to offer the students of ACCT and other attendees an introduction to the behind the scenes of Wikipedia. The use of Wikipedia for research is quite high (as common for students of all kind) but one can rarely find knowledge about the way the information is put on Wikipedia.

Furthermore, the following is planned:

  • Introduction to Wiki Commons and Wiki Loves Africa
  • Photowalk for photos on Wikimedia Commons
  • Establishment of a Wikipedia Community in Zambia.
