Hello!
- My home wiki is English Wikipedia.
- I host the Wikimedia Café. (Related to this, I created a catalog of recurring online international Wikiverse meetings.)
- I enjoy participating at Featured picture candidates on English Wikipedia and Featured picture candidates on Wikimedia Commons.
- I am a contributing writer to The Signpost, mainly in the "Gallery" and "On the bright side" sections.
- I was originally known as User:GreenPine.
Previous activities:
- I was an administrator on the Outreach wiki.
- I was a channel op on some Wikimedia IRC channels.
- I was the product manager for NavWiki.
- I was the Publication and Newsroom Manager for The Signpost. In addition to my leadership role, I contributed to:
- The Featured content report
- The Discussion report
- News and Notes
- A six part series on the Wikipedia Education Program in 2014
- A special report about Wikimedia Bangladesh
- A travelogue about the Wikimedia Conference 2015 in Germany
- A survey of Signpost readers
- I was a founding member and bureaucrat/coordinator for the Individual Engagement Grants Committee.
- I have over 100 successful featured picture nominations on English Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.
- I have 1 "good article" and 3 "Did you know?" credits on English Wikipedia.
- I was the founding executive director for Cascadia Wikimedians User Group, and I was a member of its Board.
- I created a video for English Wikipedia's milestone of 5 million articles. (A typo is in the final version of the video, and I've never gone back to correct it. It's amazing how many times several people including myself watched the video and didn't spot the typo.)
