About me

I graduated from the University of Warsaw with an MA degree in international relations and then PhD in political science. As a political scientist, I specalise in the English-speaking countries, with particular interest in the UK and Australia and I appear quite regularly as a pundit on these matters on the Polish radio. However, my main field of daily work is business: I'm the Managing Director of an advertising company, which I also co-own. I'm an active member of the family business community in Poland.

Wikimedia life

I started editing Wikipedia in 2005. I've been a Polish Wikipedia admin (sysop) since 2007 and I used to be a Commons admin (2009-2017). I was a member of the global Wikimania Scholarships Committee twice. I was also the Secretary of Wikimedia Polska's Scholarships Commission for six years. I served at Polish Wikipedia's ArbCom for a year. I was the main content creator for the official Polish Wikipedia Facebook page for three years (2013-2016). I served as Wikimedia Polska Board Member from June 2016 to June 2018. As part of my Board duties, I supervised volunteer support and communications. I was also Deputy Project Lead for Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2017 in Warsaw. From 2019 to 2021 I was one of the opetators of OTRS/VRT queues in Polish. At the moment my main area of Wikimedia work is expansion and maintenance of Poland-related content at Wikidata and Commons.
