About me

I graduated from the University of Warsaw with an MA degree in international relations and then PhD in political science. As a political scientist, I specalise in the English-speaking countries, with particular interest in the UK and Australia. However, my main field of daily work is business: I'm the Managing Director of an advertising company, which I also co-own. I'm an active member of the family business community in Poland.

Wikimedia life

I started editing Wikipedia in 2005. I've been a Polish Wikipedia admin (sysop) since 2007 and I used to be a Commons admin (2009-2017). I served at Polish Wikipedia's ArbCom for a year. I was the main content creator for the official Polish Wikipedia Facebook page for three years (2013-2016). I served as Wikimedia Polska Board Member from June 2016 to June 2018. As part of my Board duties, I supervised volunteer support and communications. I was also Deputy Project Lead for Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2017 in Warsaw. From 2019 to 2021 I was one of the operators of OTRS/VRT queues in Polish.

At the moment my main area of editing is expansion and maintenance of Poland-related content in Wikidata and Commons. I am also a regular presenter of various training sessions organised by Wikimedia Polska and I am serving as the chairperson of WMPL Scholarships Commission. Since 2023, I've been quite a regular chairperson of Wikimedia Polska's General Assemblies of Members.
