:. .: Welcome on my userpage.
.: I started contributing to the Wikimedia projects many moons ago, on the Portuguese Wikipedia. Nowadays, I am a rather involved wikimedian, and my contributions are mainly focused on global patrolling and countervandalism related duties.
.: In November 2010, I joined the Small Wiki Monitoring Team. In June 2011, I was given the global rollbacker permission and, in March 2012, the global sysop one. In January 2015, my request for global rename permission was approved. As a SWMT member, I mostly deal with LTA, spambots and ordinary crosswiki vandalism on a daily basis.
.: In 28 February 2015, I was elected a steward for a one-year term. At the moment, I am focusing on multiple stewards duties and other administrative tasks as much as I can.
.: I take part in many IRC channels under the nick RuyP, and I can be easily reached in the CVN channels. If you have an IRC client, feel free to ping me there and I will be glad to help you. Otherwise, you can also contact me either by leaving me a message on my talk page or via e-m@il.
.: I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am a native Portuguese speaker (pt-N), but I can understand English (en-3) and Spanish (es-2) pretty well though, while being able to write in English at a decent level (imho). I can also comprehend written French (fr-2), Galician (gl-1) and Italian (it-1), and I have a very basic understanding of Albanian (sq-1), Slovak (sk-1), Malay (ms-1) and Hindi (hi-1).
.: I am far from perfect, which means sometimes I can make mistakes. However, I always keep myself open to feedback. So, if you have something to say about my actions, don't hesitate to do.
