DRAFT -- just tossing out ideas so far from conversation

from the ED open letter on grantmaking :
  1. WMF and affiliates / hubs commit to work together to forecast budgets for all affiliates for the next 3 years.
  2. Engage in participatory budgeting w/ affiliates in a region when setting the regional grant pool size
  3. Offer multi-year grants to affiliates with staff / space costs.
  4. Commit to providing more advance notice for changes in funding programs
    resolving other conflict with WMF:
  5. Mediate banner-fundraising discussion: support capacity-building for fundraising competency, direct donor relations
    technical rollouts and resolution:
  6. Set up a grant pool for technical grants.
  7. Mediate and provide better resolution for the open loop around Commons development. (resolve open tasks more conclusively, delegate or assign or fund development)
  8. Mediate and provide better resolution for the open loop around Graphs.
  9. Mediate and provide clearer plans for Wikidata scaling and migration.
  10. Mediate: Event Center rollout
    other experiments waiting to happen:
  11. Let communities use A/B test framework for non-fundraising banners (for editing & other campaigns)
