Why
[edit]Dispenser's tools were originally hosted on toolserver.org/~dispenser, then dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser and/or dispenser.homenet.org/~dispenser and finally were available at 69.142.160.183/~dispenser (archive link) — over the years these locations have stopped working. Dispenser is unfortunately no longer active on Wikimedia projects.
A number of gadgets and user scripts reference these domains/IP addresses and link to the tools which used to be hosted there.
We need to remove these links to ensure that whatever may be hosted at those domains/IP addresses in the future is not harmful to the editing community. This is unlikely to happen, but it is still a prudent security measure.
