Large number of user renamings

Has the number of vanish requests suddenly increased? Is it likely to continue at this increased rate? Because it's flooding recent changes at Simple Wikipedia, with about 50 renames in the past hour. I don't remember this ever happening before.

No. Usually around 20 requests are in the queue globally speaking and the time between request incoming and request fulfilling varies. A09|(pogovor) 19:00, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
